Winter is also a bad time if you have dry skin on your arms and legs. I've done a bunch of window shopping at the mall on and off vacation this winter. I love Body Shop's Shea body butter which is now on sale for half price. In summer I love this light souffle. I have seen this line of products in Target's cosmetic section. Both these products are significantly cheaper than bigger, more famous brands. But they work well.
I'd love to hear any recommendations you have for very dry skin.
Hi, this is Heidi... Maggie's mom. I just read your comment on my blog for my daughter and I wanted to say thank you. Thank for commenting, and for being real with me also. There are so many good days that I should post about more often... but those are the days that I rejoice and enjoy the moment. It's the hard days that I feel like journaling about more often because I think it helps to "talk" to someone- even if it is the void we call the internet. I'd love to hear more about your story (maggienmomm@yahoo.com) if you ever want to share.
ReplyDeleteAlso... a tip I have for VERY dry skin is Cerave (it's something you have to get at the pharmacy, but it's not a prescription. You just have to ask for it in the pharmacy for some reason. My daughter has to use it almost everyday or her skin is terrible. Just thought you'd like to know)
ooops.... that should be maggienmommy@yahoo.com
